Maybe it is an age thing, but I really enjoy the peace and quiet of Røyse. Walking the dog, or just go for a walk on my own; Listening to the silence - and the birds and the bees; Enjoying the flowers next to the path, and the view from the dirt road leading up to our house.
Knowing that I will soon be far, far away from all of this, I sometimes ask myself if I am crazy - leaving the "best place on earth". But I know that I can enjoy it here, and still move on. I believe I can find various forms of peace and quiet wherever I go - if I take the time to sense it.
